JK Mechanical Design LLC is a mechanical consulting engineering firm located in Buena Vista, Colorado. At JK Mechanical Design, the most important objective of our business is to understand the client goals and budget and provide owner satisfaction through sound engineering practices, availability and follow-through. These principles came from a background in both the design and contractor sectors resulting in the ability to evaluate a project from each perspective. This flexibility allows us to provide everything from initial design to commercial energy audits and LEED EB building evaluations. The Dorthea E. Willie P.E. Complex Boiler Replacement for the Buena Vista School District is a prime example of a diverse project where we completed the grant application and an associated energy study as well as provided the design and construction administration for the mechanical work required for a boiler replacement at the local high school. Through our varied project experience we developed our capabilities to deliver completed design documents, energy consulting and commissioning package. We enjoy the opportunity for hands on involvement and our comfort level in the field is a benefit because we understand the project challenges and are able to efficiently respond to field questions, identify problems and develop solutions.
